Porcelain, Gold Luster, Sisal Twine
Begun as a curious experiment in the studio, these works made from manipulating thin slabs of porcelain with slip-soaked cotton twine are the beginnings of a new body of work, Tensions.
Created during the second COVID-19 lock-down in Berlin, these are echoes of the shifting mental states experienced as a result of the combination of heightened isolation and uncertainty.
