The Of Worth (Miteinander) sewn drawing series utilizes layering and stitching to emphasize the strength that emerges from the combining of fragile individuals. This is reflected not only in the imagery of gathered houses, representing individuals, but also directly tied into the materials used to create the work. This series marks the introduction of new materials into Imbeau's practice; layered sheets of reused plastics that have been stitched together by the embroidered design. Also newly incorporated are symbols for nostalgia and protection, honeysuckle and white heather, as well as snowdrops which represent hope.
